“Island” was a spiritual process through painting. I began this series of works in Madrid (July 2025). That’s where I realized that something good was happening. From Madrid I went to Tarragona, Barcelona, Madrid again, and then Badalona, where I finished the series (March 2026) with 130 works of different sizes.
Throughout the entire process, my priorities changed quite a bit. That’s normal, I was in the moment of the click, and the meditative process of painting only sharpened what was already becoming clear. I’m here again, present, reaffirming what I told you at the beginning, but this time there is something new. Not only did I disconnect from the technological madhouse we live in, but I also had the opportunity to travel through time and recover a certain lost innocence.
I understood that we can choose. The form depends on the option we decide to assume. The game becomes interesting when you realize that you can travel through space-time, synchronize the step and the gesture by choosing the right cadence to confront what is imposed. The truth of events is a “Golem” created by media mysticism. Very few of the things that happen affect you directly; it’s the system that makes you a participant. Each person chooses to belong, and the degree to which you are affected follows from that choice.
With this, I allowed myself the freedom to enter an amorphous space of colors, to propose a place from which to meditate. Every theory and poetics I present throughout the process is merely an invitation—the cadence I spoke about earlier.
With this work I ask: Where can you be now? You choose. After months within this process, I understood that the work is a question/space. At no point did I feel the need to assert anything; everything flowed, and the result is beautiful and strange.

“Isla” fue un proceso espiritual a través de la pintura. Empecé esta serie de cuadros en Madrid (julio de 2025). Allí me di cuenta de que algo bueno estaba pasando. De Madrid me fui a Tarragona, Barcelona, Madrid de nuevo y después Badalona, donde terminé la serie (marzo de 2026) con 130 obras de distintos tamaños.
Durante todo el proceso mis prioridades cambiaron bastante. Es normal, estaba en el momento del click y el proceso meditativo de la pintura apenas agudizó lo que ya se veía venir. Estoy aquí de nuevo, presente, reafirmando lo que os dije al principio, pero esta vez hay algo nuevo. No solo desconecté del manicomio tecnológico en el que vivimos, sino que tuve la oportunidad de viajar en el tiempo y rescatar cierta inocencia perdida.
Entendí que podemos elegir. La forma depende de la opción que pretendemos asumir. El juego se pone interesante cuando te das cuenta que puedes viajar en el espacio-tiempo, sincronizar el paso y el gesto eligiendo la cadencia adecuada para hacerle frente a lo impuesto. La veracidad de los hechos es un “Gólem” creado por el misticismo mediático. Pocas cosas de lo que pasa te afectan directamente; es el sistema que te hace partícipe. Cada uno elige pertenecer, y la afectación es en consecuencia.
Con ello me di la libertad de adentrarme en un espacio amorfo de los colores, proponer un lugar desde donde meditar. Toda teoría y poética que expongo a lo largo del proceso es apenas una invitación, la cadencia de la que os hablé antes.
Con esta obra pregunto: ¿Dónde puedes estar ahora? Tú eliges. Después de meses en este proceso, entendí que la obra es una pregunta/espacio. En ningún momento tuve la necesidad de afirmar; todo ha fluido y el resultado es bello y extraño.
