Entropy is a raw work, created during the wildest days of my life. I began painting these pieces in the Raval district of Barcelona during a time of endless bohemia.

After a two-year break, confusing years I’d rather not talk about, I continued painting this series in Bilbao. Everything was still very intense and, after another pause during which I devoted my time to post-graffiti, I finished the series of forty-five small-format paintings in Valencia (2017).

Throughout these three stages (Barcelona/Bilbao/Valencia), I recognize that my life was quite strange, and I’m sure that is reflected in the paintings. That’s why I decided to reveal the context of their creation, though without giving details. The work speaks for itself, and I find it appealing to leave the narrative to the viewer’s imagination.

Entropía es una obra cruda, creada durante los días más salvajes de mi vida. Empecé a pintar estos cuadros en el Raval de Barcelona en una época de bohemia sin fin.

Tras un parón de dos años muy confusos de los que prefiero no hablar, seguí pintando esta serie en Bilbao. Todo seguía muy intenso y, tras otro parón en el que dediqué mi tiempo al post graffiti, acabé la serie de cuarenta y cinco cuadros de pequeño formato en Valencia (2017).

En estas tres etapas (Barcelona/Bilbao/Valencia) reconozco que mi vida era bastante extraña y estoy seguro que se refleja en las pinturas. Es por ello que decidí exponer el contexto de su creación, pero sin dar detalles. La obra habla por sÍ misma y me parece atractivo dejar a la imaginación del espectador el relato.
